Jyoti: I think going with absolute black would make this easier on you.

Beth: It would make a very toned down kitchen color-wise.

Mary Ann J: White cabinets will be enough to set the contrast between the tops and the rest of the kitchen.

Do you think Madura gold will work with white beadboard cabinets. The floor is a cognac colored maple and my island is a lighter colored cherry (Mandarin)

Would like to use Mudura Gold for countertop but not sure if will go with antique white w/espresso glaze maple cabinets - or should I look for something darker? No floor selection yet.

George: As I said in the previous answer, Solarius is a stunning color. Madura will also work well if you'd rather have a more toned down look.

George: That is a beautiful stone there George! I think the pattern is very dramatic, and will definitely make a stunning top.

Hello, Thanks. Will Solarus granite work with my cherry cabinet and maple floor ? I mean your stone ID 420 ? It seems has a lot yellow in that granit. Thanks.

Julia: Definitely make the floor a darker stain, then there should be plenty of contrast in the kitchen.

I have cream colored cabinets and hardwood floors. I haven\\\'t chosen a stain for the floor, but thinking darker rather than the lighter honey color. I really like this stone. Do you feel this would work together well. Or should I be considering an even darker color?

Fran: It's a low contrast scenario, but it could work depending on the lighting.

I\\\\\\\'m getting maple cabinets with a nutmeg glaze. do you think this would go with my cabinets?

Kristen: Hmm... I think it would look good. As long as there is enough contrast between the cabinets and the stone you should be ok. Light backsplash is definitely a good option.

I really like this one along with Kashmir Gold 286. Do you think either of these would look good with a slate flooring with honey colored cabinets? Or do you think I should go with something darker? Open to suggestions. I would like to stay with a light backsplash.

I have a sample of this granite on my counter at this moment. These pictures only reinforce how lovely it is. I think I am going to go with this Madura Gold. It will bring out the color in the maple butterscotch cabinets we ordered - Thank you for your wonderful site -nformative and has helped me so much.
